Alzheimer's Caregiver Awareness Month: Activities Plus a Giveaway
Alzheimer's caregivers are an integral part of our community. While we appreciate caregivers every day, November marks the time to highlight all that caregivers do to help their loved ones. Caregiving is a 24/7 responsibility, meaning that sometimes, a caregiver's own needs get sidelined.
This November, we are giving 1 caregiver a gift card to a restaurant or food delivery service of their choice so they can have a night to relax and not cook. Check out the various ways to connect with other caregivers in the AlzheimersDisease.net community:
Share your story
Did you know that telling your story may actually be good for your health? Researchers have found that writing about our experiences – especially traumatic, emotional, or stressful experiences – can benefit both physical and mental well-being.
Sharing your story is easy! What has your caregiving journey been like? What are you waiting for? Click the button below to share your own story!
Participate in forums
Only caregivers know what it is really like to care for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease. Ask questions and share advice with other caregivers in the forum section. Share what you are doing during this month in the awareness month forum!
