Alzheimersdisease.net community advocate Holly MillerHolly is a wife and mother of 3, grandmother to 1.

She was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and continues to live close by in the outskirts of a small town called Azle, Texas with her wife, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. She enjoys gardening, writing, and playing games.

Holly graduated from Tarrant County College with an associate's degree in nursing in 2006, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 2015, and a Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management in 2019. Her background is in public health, school nursing, pediatrics, and Neonatal ICU.

Holly was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the age of 49. Her mother and two uncles had the same diagnosis in their mid-forties. Her philosophy is to never take a moment for granted, live intentionally, and love others as the Lord loves us.
