Early stages of dementia/alzeimers

my husband (86 yrs) is i the beginning of dementia/alzheimers. What bothers me is when I informed the doctor of his forgetfulness and the doctor gave him a memory test - he passed it with flying colors! Yet 2 days ago he was hallucinating, thinking people were in our home, looking for me in the early hours of the morning and upset he couldn't find me when I was in bed sleeping. I felt foolish taking him to the doctor.

  1. Hi , it may be helpful to keep a diary of the things you are noticing, even the small things, and bring it to your next appointment. It sometimes helps to have a concentrated listing of what is happening. -Warmly, Donna (team member)
