Adult Day Center: Interview with Activities Director, Gail

As much as we all enjoy a day on the sofa binge-watching a season or two of a show, it's probably not really the ideal way to spend all of your time. Try as you might as a caregiver, sometimes this is what happens to our loved ones.

Caregivers juggle so much every day that planning daily activities can occasionally be an after-thought. That's why there are places like The Tender, a center that gives "older adults an opportunity to get out of the house and receive both mental and social stimulation."

It also gives caregivers time to find a bit of respite during their day. I was able to talk to Gail Roccia, Activities Director, to learn about some of the activities your loved one may participate in at adult day programs like The Tender.
