I have absolutely nobody in my life which has led me to pretty much laying in bed 24/7
Any suggestions on how to socialize. I have no transportation either.
My house is paid for is about the only positive thing in my life...

Hi
You could also check with your church community for activities that you would enjoy, and they may also be able to help with transportation.

Are you relatively mobile? Are you able to walk or use a walker to get around? Getting outside or even walking in a mall area can be options. Check-in with your local community library and senior center to see if they have connections for a walking club, simple crafts, or guest speakers where someone can collect you or, as Donna mentions, may have available online using a link.
Another idea is to see if any organizations in your community have volunteer opportunities to wrap presents for the upcoming holidays or complete cards to pass on to those in need within your community. Depending on your ability and comfort level, I'd inquire about how strenuous and often the volunteer work may be. These kinds of options are ways to help you stay connected to your community.
Please let us know what you find or if you need more support. Respectfully, Nancy Alzheimersdisease.net Team Member

I have this addiction called saltwater fishing...I'm not really sure what is meant by "support"? Would you please elaborate just a little?
Thank you!
