Does anyone's loved one struggle with the mechanics of eating? My husband takes his sandwiches apart now, has trouble with hand held things like pizza and has a hard time cutting up any kind of meat.
Hi, @Lisa Marshall, eating difficulties are quite common. While you wait for feedback from the community, I thought I would share: https://alzheimersdisease.net/living/eating-in-late-stage. There are also some helpful tips in this NIH article: https://bit.ly/34TUkDl. I hope there is some helpful information for you. - Warmly, Donna (team member)

Since my husband got diagnosed with Alz, I've been trying to read up on everything to know what's coming, and unfortunately, this seems common. I've read that as the disease progresses, the mechanics of eating can get tricky, partly because of the loss of motor skills and sometimes depth perception issues.
