I can share what my loved one experiences with occupational therapy and physical therapy as she lives with us and is now 86. Both therapies focus on building stamina, strength and helping with balance. This might involve inclines or steps or very light weights. Daily living is the focus as well. So, helping my loved one with every day tasks such as using utensils or putting on shoes are often part of the routine. This involves helping with manual dexterity.
