How do you deal with Alzheimer's anger?
I'm a caregiver for a lady that is 94. I know about the Sundowners symptoms but lately she gets furious and tries to hit me and cusses like a sailor. Mostly it's when I take her to the bathroom to change her. The biggest problem is that she's mad at me after that. She lives in a facility and the same thing happens when I'm not there. Any suggestions or is this normal?

Have there been any recent changes in the patient's routine that may be causing her to be extra agitated?
