What are common symptoms of Alzheimer's disease regardless of stage?

  1. Hi Aleq! We are constantly learning more about Alzheimer's as new research comes and we really share with each other the experiences of our loved ones. So, this is a hard question to answer. However, there are a lot of resources available on this website that you can look to.
I've included some links to articles about early stage symtpoms, many of which, like mood swings and lanugage problems, I've personally found persist throughout the arch of the disease. However, that's only in my limited experience. I hope you find some of these articles to be helpful.

  2. My experience, based on my own diagnosis plus reports the numerous people in the three support groups we lead, is short term memory loss. It is the inability to remember things, some important.

  3. Key signs you'll notice throughout stages include- memory loss (short term), confusion, difficulty finding the correct words, becoming lost, having trouble with decision making ad personality/mood changes.
These signs tend to appear slowly and subtly in the intial stages but will become more prominent later on.
