First learning about diagnosis
Talk to your love one about what they expect from you as it progress. They may not want you to do suffer trying to take care of them. I talked with my husband and know what his wishes are. Get affairs in order, power of attorney, medical poa, living will, DNR, wills!
Thank you for sharing and being here with our community. As you have shared, keeping communication open and listening to a loved one's final wishes is essential and respectful. I, too, have had conversations with my loved ones about these same questions of importance.
