How do I live moment to moment and then try to plan things?

I can get lost in the details of the moment that I never really plan for the future. How do I live moment to moment and then try to plan things...

  1. I leave a writing pad on the table where I sit. When I think of something I want to do or plan, I sit down and write it out. If I lose my train of thought, I'll see my notes when I eat, and can pickup where I left off. Eventually, I can move forward. The pad never leaves the table. It's working for me for now, but I don't know how for how long. Hope this helps.

    1. That does help. Having a handy visual reminder helps with the longer term thoughts without needing to always be keeping my plans on the top of my mind. Thank you. Scott AlzheimersDisease.net Team Member
