I tend to be on the manic side, maybe to try to push all of it away. When I can, I practice a deep breathing exercise. Breathe in for a count of 10, hold for a count of 10, breathe out for a count of 10 until you feel calmer. This is one therapy I can do with my husband sitting right next to me!
