Cost of Senior Home Care in Orlando?

I'm just starting to investigate home care for mom down in Orlando and feeling a little bit overwhelmed by the costs! She does not need to have care 24 hours a day but she does need assistance for a few hours per day for food prep, medication n just support.
I am seeing a huge variance in costs and really have no idea what realistic to expect.
Any ideas on ways people are making home care affordable? I would appreciate hearing about your experiences.

  1. Hi I am sure this is an overwhelming process. It is good that you have started to look into this now. I am sending over an article that provides tips when thinking about care, it also offers a link to the alzheimers.gov website for help with putting together a plan. I hope this is helpful for you. 2. Hi Aiden,
I can see why it could be a lot. Home health is anywhere from $20 to $30 per hour here in Orlando swo we are targeting the important hours.
There is Medicaid, Elitecaregivers and other local resources that could potentially ease the costs.
