My mom just passed a couple months ago after almost 14 years living with dementia. It was a difficult but in the end a very beautiful and special journey for us. She will always be my hero and soulmate💕💕 I am at peace because she is at peace 🙏🏻

My Dad loved telling silly jokes. I knew something was going on when he could no longer remember the punch lines or even the jokes. He started writing them on cards he kept in his shirt pocket so he could read them and still get a laugh from people. Us "kids" send or tell one another jokes from time-to-time in his memory. We say, "This is a Dad joke." We know it's going to be a silly one.
