My Husband’s Story

My husband started to show signs of cognizant memory loss around 2016. I have taken care of him since the beginning and it worked into 24/7. I do treat him as normal as possible and he still goes to the market with me. He still goes out to eat. He can feed himself. He doesn’t really know anything. What keeps us going is the normalization I try to keep. I do have help now, but I’m in the picture as well.

  1. Hi thank you for sharing with us. It sounds like you have a nice balance between getting help and being there. The routine and normal schedule you try to keep seems like it is working. I am glad to hear that you can be together at the market and restaurants. Enjoy each moment 😀 Jill (Team Member)
